Inspired by the shape of oil drums, this 9-story office building for a major oil producer in Saudi Arabia incorporates a full height solar shading device rotating around the facade throughout the day

A bank of photovoltaic collectors provides 50% of the electricity of the building. Additional elements includes a retail bank at the ground floor, an exoskeleton structure, and a tensile cable roof structure penthouse.

Water is collected and contained in a rooftop sphere above a mechanical service spine.
